PepsiCo

Makes drinks and snacks, like Pepsi, Gatorade, Lay's, Sabritas and Quaker.

📖 Its story

In 1893, a pharmacist in North Carolina named Caleb Bradham invented a drink at his drugstore. First it was called 'Brad's Drink,' and in 1898 he changed the name to Pepsi-Cola. In 1965, Pepsi joined with Frito-Lay, and that's how PepsiCo, the drinks and snacks company, was born.

💵 How it makes money

It sells drinks, chips, cookies and cereals in stores and supermarkets all over the world.

🤯 Fun fact

The first Pepsi was called 'Brad's Drink,' after its inventor's last name.

👍 The good part

Its brands are very well known, and people buy snacks and drinks almost every day.
